How It Feels is the name of my note card confession. This strategy is a great way for students to express what they learned and how they feel. Notecard confessions is another way for telling a story. They have a point of view that makes you think and feel the story being told. When I saw examples of note card confessions, I new exactly what story I wanted to tell. Someone I new was bullied in her school. It was so hard for her to get through school, and I believe her story has courage that others need to hear. She put up with some rediculous things for a 5 th grader, but she is a strong girl. I believe this video will be encouraging to others. When making this video, I wanted to make sure I got the story right. I wrote it on paper first and read it to myself. Next, I transferred it to the notecards and read them in a mirror. When writing the note card confession, it is good to reread stories. The point of view needs to be through the person's eyes and not your own. This is a good strategy for teachers. It can useful for literature or history. The students can write a story based off of a historical figure they learned about, or a character in the literature books. This would be an easy assignment for any grade when they start writing their stories.
